Annual TSP Activities

Trainers’ Conference

Each year, TSP hosts a conference in conjunction with the NASP conference to which all members and faculty at member institutions are invited. This full day conference provides trainers with an opportunity to exchange ideas and learn more about advances in the field of school psychology. Continuing education credits may be earned through meeting attendance.

Trainers’ Forum Journal

We publish a semi-annual, peer-refereed journal, Trainers’ Forum, which features articles relevant to the preparation of school psychologists. Libraries and publishers can purchase subscriptions to Trainers’ Forum.

Annual Awards

Each year, TSP honor’s a school psychologist with the Outstanding Contributions to Training award. This award is presented to school psychologists, who throughout their careers, have demonstrated exceptional contributions to training issues that merit special recognition. The recipient is recognized and presented the award during the TSP annual conference. We welcome nominations for this award as well as Annual Scholarships we provide in collaboration with PsychCorps.

Collaborative Networks

We are able to bring our members the latest information in our changing field through our ongoing collaboration with other national and international school psychology organizations (e.g., NASP, APA Division 16, International School Psychology Association, Society for the Study of School Psychology, Council for the Directors of School Psychology Programs).
